Bodiam Castle is a wonderful castle for children to visit because it is so complete, and really looks like the castles of legends and fairytales.  It is picture perfect, with moat, battlements etc. - you can almost hear the chink of armour!  Enjoy a picnic by the River Rother or in the grounds around the castle, or visit the tea room.  Older children will enjoy climbing the spiral staircases - at the top you will be rewarded with views across Sussex and Kent.

10th February - 28th February : Daily 10.00 - 18:00
1st March - 31st October : Daily  10.00 - 18.00
3rd November - 17 February: Saturday & Sunday : 10.30 - 16.00
Shop and Tea Rooms follows similar pattern - check for closing times as these vary.

Last admission 1 hr before closing. Castle closes dusk if earlier than stated. Closed 24 Dec-5 Jan 08
